Games Afoot is committed to your privacy. You may request the permanent deletion of your account and associated gameplay records at any time.

Notice Regarding Active App Store & Google Play Subscriptions: Deleting your Games Afoot account does not automatically cancel recurring subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. To avoid unwanted charges, please cancel active subscriptions in your device settings prior to requesting account deletion.

🛡️ Data Deletion Policy & Details

    What Data Is Permanently Purged:
    Upon account verification, we permanently delete your authentication record (phone number, email address, and unique user ID) from Firebase Authentication, all saved game progression (unlocked scenes, dossiers, suspect interrogation history, cipher desk discoveries), and all physical step activity metrics synchronized with our servers.

    What Data May Be Retained:
    Certain anonymized telemetry or financial transaction history (such as anonymized subscription receipt identifiers) may be retained for statutory accounting, anti-fraud, and tax compliance periods as required by applicable laws.

    Processing Timeline:
    Account deletion requests are processed within 14 to 30 calendar days of submission. Once purged, your account and gameplay progress cannot be recovered.
  • 📱
    In-App Deletion Alternative:
    If you have the app installed on your iPhone or Android device, you can also delete your account immediately by opening the side drawer menu and selecting Delete Account.
