1. Walking Powers Your Army
Physical walking is the sole engine that trains troops and earns Defense Shields.
Pocket Walking
Keep your phone in your pocket. As you walk, milestone wayposts automatically award fresh Troops and Defense Shields.
Field Reports
Listen to reports from your Quartermaster and field scout as you walk.
2. Three Commander Actions
Tap any city on the Empire Map to issue your daily orders:
Deploy Troops
Add fresh troops or Defense Shields to reinforce any city you control.
Move Troops
Relocate defending troops between connected friendly cities.
Conquer Cities
March troops into connected neutral or rival cities to capture them.
🌙 Midnight Clash
All player and rival army orders execute simultaneously at night while you sleep. The army with more troops captures the city.
3. Victory & Morning Report
Review your results each morning to see which battles won and plan today’s march.
Kingdom Bonus
Controlling every city in a Kingdom awards bonus troops every morning.
Win the Game
Control all Kingdoms across the map to win the campaign.
Morning Report
Check your Morning Report after the clash to review territory shifts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does goEmpire track my GPS location?
No. Never. goEmpire does not request location permissions and does not use GPS. Progress is driven 100% by your device’s step sensor. You can walk on a treadmill, in your neighborhood, or at the gym.
Do I need to keep the app open while walking?
No. Put your phone in your pocket and walk naturally. Steps are tracked in the background.
What if I don’t reach my goal every day?
You keep every troop and shield earned at the milestones you reached.
